Fort Day!

Last Thursday, as a reward for the classes' good behavior, we had a "Fort Day".  The kids were super excited and kept asking me when would "Fort Day" begin.  We finally moved into the chapel after lunch to begin the set up.  The kids were thrilled and were running around, giving orders and direction others.  It was fun to see who took charge, who sat back and followed directions, who sat back and watched and who may have a career in engineering one day.  :)

They were willing to do whatever it took to make their forts the best!

I'm not sure if they were more excited about the forts or the fact that I told them they could take off their shoes.. They loved being barefooted!

The boys spent more time moving chairs than enjoying their fort.

That lump on the ground is Anthony!

Flashlights, books and snacks make forts even more fun!
 This was the girl's fort.

Blurry pictures = kids having too much fun

When the forts were complete, I turned off the lights.  Then the fun really began!
